My core competency is enterprise-level software development but I also have experience and expertise in Unix/Linux system administration and relational database design and administration (MySQL, mostly). I am beginning to dabble in developing mobile applications. I have written software professionally in C, Perl, Java, Javascript and PHP and I have a comfortable familiarity with a variety of other languages and technologies.

I can build a website. I can create a mobile or desktop app. I can extend or modify software created by others. If you need to create something that doesn't exist and has never existed, I can make it happen. I have an impressive record of developing profitable technology products in startup and consulting environments.

Occasionally I will be asked to do something I've never done before. (As an aside, these are typically the projects I enjoy the most!) Whether I am doing something for the first time or the hundredth time, my RESULTS-based pricing model is fair to both of us: it protects you against paying me for learning on the job, and it rewards me for being able to leverage my many years of skill, experience and previous work to complete your project quickly and efficiently.
